Jesus Christ! The kids stayed home from school yesterday because my ex didn't give the kids any meds when he had them on his weekend. So now they are home again today because it's Veteran's Day. Lets see how trashed the house gets from toys today. We are having a play date today with Wendy and her kids. Thank god. Adult interactions. I'm a stay at home still so I am around my lil' ones all the time. They do go to preschool but just part time. Lourdes is five days a week 9am-1pm and Marco three days a week same hours.
On the plus side, tomorrow both kids will be back in school tomorrow and I am going with Wendy to scrapbook. Honestly I'm not a scrapbooker, but I love crafts. The main reason I'm going is to be introduced to Whitney, well apparently she has a very much available brother who loves children and wants to settle down. I found out some really nice things about him. He's in his 30's, lives on a ranch, drives a nice big truck, very cute and very sweet. I'm trying really hard not to get too excited so I don't get disappointed if nothing comes from it. But it will be nice to meet a man the old fashioned way and not through the internet. Soooo sick of online dating. I've met some nice friends. But that's where it ends. Friends.
I've gotten really tired of the dating scene honestly. I've been doing plenty of dating this summer. Trying to find a match. Thought I did a couple of times. But, it seems like the ones I like don't want a future with me and the ones that do I don't want. But I think being set up will be a little easier. Who knows me better than my friends? I apparently don't have a good guy radar lately. I've met some very interesting guys over the past few months.
Lets see here. It started with Brandon, the country boy who drove a 'vette. Dated for 5 weeks. Decided that he didn't want anything long term so he broke up with me through my best friend. I still run into him on occassion, but he's moving back to Tennessee soon thank god cause that one hurt. I went on a few dates here and there then met Eric. Very sweet guy. Hell he gave me his dog when I was about to buy one. We dated about a month or so, but we were never exclusive. He just wanted to date. The heat fizzled and we are just friends. But having him as a friend is really nice. I'd rather have him as a friend then an ex if things didnt work out. Oh then there is George. He's a piece of work. "I wanna be with you, to getting back with the ex and proposing to her. To breaking off the engagement, to wanting to be back in my life, to saying I love you, then dumping me within days with a stupid excuse when the real excuse is he met someone else." Wow! Somewhere in there I met Bubba. The man who tried to be a playa but got caught within hours. {{{shaking head}}} These boys are all something. I think I'm getting good at spotting game. Lets just hope my heart doesnt turn into stone before all is said and done.
Well it's breakfast time and the kids need to get ready for our playdate. And it looks like the dog needs to go out. Thanks for reading. You will get to know me more and more through these next few weeks through my posts.
